Open the leaderboard where your program makes it available. Select a period such as today, this week, this month, this year, or all time. Check whether you are viewing worldwide results or a country view.

Interpret your rank
Compare the displayed metric and period before comparing positions. Rank movement reflects changes within that view; it does not by itself confirm a commission or prize.

Understand visibility
Some leaderboards hide affiliate names or offer a public version. Review the visibility shown by your program. If you are participating in a contest, read its separate eligibility and prize rules. A high leaderboard position is not a substitute for satisfying those rules.
